And I didn't know that it was because my parents didn't know how to foster a secure attached relationship with me.

All my life I was a "glass half full", "good vibes only" kinda gal but I didn't realize that I was just using that as a mask to avoid dealing with the suppressed emotions that I had inside. Why? Because I was never taught in childhood that it was safe, normal, or natural to feel anything but happy. So when I lost my Dad to suicide at the age of 24 my nervous system had finally hit its breaking point & not only did I develop severe anxiety & depression, but I also developed a chronic illness that left me bedridden in pain. It was my big rock bottom, WTF moment that catapulted me on a healing journey.

I used to struggle with my mental health

I love to helping women thrive so their kids can thrive too.

my history and experience

My healing journey led to me to find the root cause to the rise in mental health disorders that we see today.

my story

So for the past 8+ years, I trialed & errored many different healing modalities & it led me down a path of learning from the best in the therapy world from Marisa Peer (trauma healing through subconscious reprogramming) to Peter Cummings (trauma healing through attachment repair) and what I discovered was that the root cause to the rise in mental disorders that we see in our world today is because our parents didn't know how to co-regulate our nervous system when we were feeling our emotions as kids - hence the reason we have suppressed emotions stuck in our body that we try to heal in adulthood.

You see, in order for us to be able to self-regulate when we're older, we need to be co-regulated when we are younger. But no past generation was taught how to do this through the lens of secure attachment which is why I created Mom School.

So that this generation of mamas can not only heal the unconscious pain from their past but also be able to build a secure relationship with their child that will create a massive ripple effect in their lineage.
